亲爱的同学们：

        Hello! My name is Bay Gafur, and I am a post-graduated student. I am from Mozambique, one of Southeast africa countries. It makes border withMalawi，South Africa，Tanzania，Swaziland，Zambia，Zimbabwe，and east by the Indian Ocean, which makes the country one of the largest turistm destinations in the world for its beautiful beaches and sea food.

       大家好！我是加富尔.贝，现为一名研究生。我来自非洲东南部的一个国家――莫桑比克，它和南非的马拉维、坦桑尼亚、斯威士兰、赞比亚和津巴布韦接壤，东临印度洋，因其美丽的沙滩和海鲜而出名，是世界著名的旅游目的地之一。

      Our neighboring countries are all English speakers, but inMozambique we speak Portuguese, the language of Camoes.

      我们的邻国均使用英语，而在莫桑比克我们说葡萄牙语――卡蒙斯的母语。（卡蒙斯：葡萄牙有史以来最伟大的诗人和航海家。）

      Sharing my little knowledge about China is indeed a huge challenge. It’s a country with continental dimensions and I still have a lot to learn here.  However rather than learning about another culture, an interesting country, unlike anything you can imagine, experience and adventures in China will obviously shape my life and the way of seeing the world, the acknowledgement of Chinese people who has been building a civilization for over 5,000 years.

       让我来谈谈对中国的看法于我是一个不小的挑战，在这片广袤的陆地，有太多未知等待我去学习。相比学习中国这个神秘的国度和它的文化，在中国的生活经历更能影响我的人生观和世界观，勤劳的中国人已经在这片土地上创造了5000多年的文明。

       The reality that I found in Nanchang is so different from Chinese cities that I have been before. It is a gleaming city, growing faster and with new buildings springing the view of any visitor, and developed a long on both sides of the Gan River.

      我发现在南昌的见闻和之前我到过的中国别的城市截然不同。在这个星光璀璨的城市里，崭新的建筑群沿着赣江一带如雨后春笋般耸立，呈现在游客面前。

      The university village enjoys an enviable location in a peaceful setting. Here it is possible to listen to the serene waters of the Gan River. The existing basic services within the village cover the daily needs of any overseas student. And the stalls around the campus, operating from 5 o’clock pm, offer a serene atmosphere and an opportunity to taste the diversity of Chinese food. Even the simple garlic in China is grilled.Excessive food spice and chili are delight. I admit I have never eaten so much chili food in my life.

       大学城坐落于一个令人艳羡的地理位置，在安静祥和的环境下，我们可以聆听到潺潺的赣江水声。现有的基础设施可以满足每一位留学生的日常所需。校园周围有很多小吃摊，它们从下午五点钟开始营业，既给了我们一个可以品尝中国美食的机会又为我们提供了一个舒适的用餐环境。到了中国我们才知道，原来大蒜也可以用来烧烤的。小吃上撒的辣椒等调料让食品变得无比美味，这真是让人兴奋的事，我敢发誓我这辈子都没吃过这么多辣椒。

      The coexistence with the locals and international students, from diverse cultures, speakers of different languages makes our day to day Jufe’s life a learning experience.

      在和一群国内外的同学相处的日子里，我们体验不同的文化不同的语言，每天都是一段新的学习经历。

      Unfortunately I don’t learn Chinese language because this is not foreseen in my curicula, so the challenges of daily communication are enormous. Mandarin is not a language you learn watching a movie or reading a book.

      遗憾的是我没有修中文的课程，学习不了中文，因而我在学校的日常交流十分困难，中文博大精深，仅从电影和书本中很难学会普通话。
